Frequently Asked Questions
You can reach out via the booking form on the contact page, or send an email t(mailto:emailclarissasofia@outlook.com)o c(mailto:toclarissasofia@outlook.com)larissasofia@outlook.com.(mailto:clarissasofia@outlook.com) From there I'll be in touch with you personally! I'll send over my Dossier with more information and pricing, and I'll suggest a Discovery Call for us to have a chat and see if we are a good fit. I recommend starting the booking process early to secure your preferred date, especially during peak summer seasons.
I intentionally keep my calendar limited so that I can give each couple the attention and care they deserve. Weddings are deeply personal, they’re not just another date in a diary, so I only take on 20 weddings each year. This allows me to stay inspired, present, and fully invested in every story I document.
Yes, and I truly love them. Engagement sessions are such a beautiful way for us to get to know each other before the wedding day. There’s no timeline pressure, no expectations, just the two of you, in a place that feels meaningful or inspiring. It’s also a gentle way to get comfortable in front of the camera so that when your wedding day arrives, it feels natural and easy.
Absolutely. I’m based in Spain and photograph weddings across Europe, and I’m always open to travelling further afield if we’re the right fit. There’s something incredibly special about documenting love in a place that feels meaningful to you, whether that’s a sun-soaked celebration in Ibiza or an intimate gathering somewhere new. I always arrive with time to settle in and understand the light and atmosphere, so your story feels naturally woven into its surroundings.
It depends. For weddings with over 100 guests, I’ll often recommend one. I work with a select few trusted photographers who are just as skilled and passionate as I am to provide a more complete coverage.
Yes! I collaborate with filmmaker Maddi Jean Waterhouse (https://www.maddijeanwaterhouse.com/video)to offer vintage-inspired wedding films that sit beautifully alongside my photography. Our approach to video mirrors the way I photograph: documentary, intimate, and focused on capturing emotions. We work seamlessly together, moving gently and unobtrusively, so your celebration flows without interruption while your story is preserved in both film and stills. If you’d like more information, just let me know and I’ll send over our Photo&Video brochure.
My approach is equally thoughtful as it is laid-back. I enjoy blending in with your guests, ie, being a friend that happens to have lots of cameras. I bounce between being in the background, capturing those fleeting candid moments, and then coming into the foreground for gentle portraits. The thing that matters to me the most as your photographer is that you are able to live in full presence for your wedding day, so I do everything I can to keep you guys in that magical space. It’s all a balance that keeps me on my toes and inspired, and you, enjoying your time with all of your loved ones.
I work with both! I love mixing formats, using digital, 35mm and medium format throughout the day. Digital photography brings practicality, security, and speed, allowing me to capture fast-moving moments, while film serves as the artistic backbone of the day.
Nowadays, film photography is considered a luxury in the wedding industry due to its high production costs. I choose to make this luxury accessible to all my client by using a hybrid approach. This looks like shooting between 4 - 10 rolls of film per wedding, depending if you've booked me for half a day or a full day, and delivering your wedding 30% on film and 70% digital.
That makes me even more excited. Whether you’re eloping, planning an intimate gathering, rewriting traditions, or creating something entirely your own, I’m there for it. To me, a wedding isn’t about following a formula. It’s about celebrating your relationship in a way that feels true to you. The less you feel like you’re performing, and the more you feel like yourselves, the more meaningful your photographs will be.
You are in good hands, as someone who also doesn’t love being in front of the camera, I can empathise with you and have plenty of tricks to keep you present. Most of the time I’ll be capturing candid moments and you’ll be too busy soaking up your day, chatting with friends or family to even notice! And then for your couple portraits, I’ll give you gentle prompts if and as needed, creating natural moments between you so that you don’t feel like you’re posing, but spending quality one-on-one time together, as newlyweds.
Within 48 hours you’ll receive a small preview of web-size images, and while your film photos are shipped to a professional film lab and processed with the greatest care, I’ll be working on your digital images. Your full photo gallery will be ready within 6-10 weeks of your wedding.
I firmly believe in quality over quantity, delivering only the very best images and carefully crafting them into a unique story. For a full day’s coverage; from getting ready to the dance floor, I deliver 600+ images.
You'll receive a personal online gallery via Pic-Time, ready for easy downloads and sharing with your family and friends.
