ABOUT ME
I'm Clarissa, the woman behind Clarissa Sofía Studio. I was born in Ibiza and raised in London which gifted me fluency in English & Spanish and an appreciation for my two cultures.
The Balearics have been home to my family since the1960s, with roots in Seville and having spent some time living in Barcelona, my love for Spain runs deep. My generational relationship with Spain and its light comes with me to every wedding I photograph.
I fell in love with film photography at 16 when I first saw the magical process that takes place in the darkroom. After years of experimenting with various techniques, I now confidently work with a hybrid approach, using digital, 35mm & medium format cameras to get the best results out of each photographic story.
My approach is documentary-led, letting the day unfold as it actually happens, so you can be fully present with the people you love. I’m there for the big, emotional moments, but I’m just as drawn to the quieter ones; the kind you don’t notice at the time, but end up meaning the most when you look back.

Whether you're planning a chic urban celebration, a luxury villa wedding by the Mediterranean, or a romantic elopement along the Catalan coast, your story will be captured authentically and artfully on film.
I offer two packages, a full-day coverage: from getting ready to the dancefloor, and a 4-hour package for those who just want the essence of their day documented. Each package is customizable so that it fits the flow of your day.
Working with me is about more than just pictures. I am a calm and supportive presence throughout your wedding day, gently guiding without interfering, so that you can feel present and at ease. Together we create images that feel honest, alive, and uniquely yours.
